Looking for something to do this weekend. Want to spend some creative time with your Mum and make/buy a unique gift for Mother’s Day on the 19th. This is the place to do it.

On Saturday 18th March from 2 – 5 pm Muswell Hill Creatives are hosting a Make and Mend Festival at St Andrews Church Hall, Alexandra Park Road, London N10 2DD.

Come and join what promises to be a lively and inspiring day packed with creativity. Entry to the event is FREE so come along to enjoy lovely food, watch artisans at work, shop from local makers or book a workshop with family or friends.

We’ll show you ways of living more sustainably with mending workshops, repair advice and refill services. There will be tasty teatime snacks and hot drinks on sale – all provided by local independent businesses.

Workshops

Workshops are listed to the right.  Some places will be available for walk ins, but it is advisable to pre book to ensure your place.

Demos will be held by:

  • Crouch End based weaver, Cecilia Child who will be demonstrating the ancient traditional craft of weaving on a small loom throughout the day,
  • Muswell Hill based Katarina of Time for Tea Ceramics will be demonstrating how she hand-builds her  unique and functional ceramic tableware.
  • I will also be talking all things leather repairs, what I can and cannot work on.  Yes there are different types of leather, and different skill sets in repairing them all.

Pick up a Bargain

In addition to myself, the following makers will be selling seconds/end of season/sample stock.
