I just love this stunning drawing of St James Square in Muswell Hill.  It is one of the brilliant sketches by the very talented Hilary.  She will have prints of this, and her other local scenes available at the May Makers Fair.  We will be there on Saturday 21 May 10.30am-5.30pm.  All of us will be hoping for better weather than last time, when the wind had us playing Mary Poppins.

I can guarantee that the square will not look so empty on the day, and you might see a dachshund or two.   Can you guess which stall holder might bring them along.  Those stall holders will be:

Muswell Hill Creatives Stalls: Hilary Sketches, Art With Mollie, Crouch End Candles, Wyckoff Smith Jewellery, Ceramic Justice, The Idle Bindery, Romor Designs, Papershades, Eva Fay Design, Isabee, Steph Rubbo Saddlery, Night Press.

Guest Stalls: Giggy & Bab, Nordic Nic Nac, Woodsmith Works, Becca Cadbury Design, Heti’s Colours, Jess Albert, Sobu Handmade, Colour in Gold and Bailey & Free.

Assuming I get it finished I will be showing off my new oversized messenger bag.  It is large enough to take a 15″ MacBook pro.  I will be using it hold my order book, and other necessary bits and pieces for the day.  I am making it up to test  some new design features I have been thinking about for a while.  Pic shows me mid way through stitching it.
The other exciting project I have in the pipeline is a carry handle for my new steed.  No, I don’t carry a horse around, it is a folding bike, in racing green.   Yes a Brompton!  However I doubt I will be using it to ferry all my wares up the hill to the fair.

Be warned though, that if you want to see me, I will be packing up around 4.00 as I have an evening engagement that must be attended.
