Muswell Hill Creatives Spring Fair – 29 May
In May it wasn’t Covid that stopped us from getting out and about, it was the weather. For now it looks like the weather gods are playing ball and we will finally get a chance to get out in St James’ Square this weekend.
Based on the last few weeks, it seems like April and May flipped around? Dry in April, and never ending showers in May. Finally summer is forecast to arrive in time for the rescheduled MHC Spring Fair this weekend.
Muswell Hill Creatives are holding our fair in St James’ Square in Muswell Hill. We even invited some lovely guests along to join in, and they said yes, and are looking forward to meeting you all.
At always you can browse a selection of my stock of pre-made belts, card wallets, bags and other accessories. I prepare all items using traditional hand tools and hand stitch them in my Wood Green Studio. I will also have my order book with me to take bespoke orders.
Stall holders will have a wide range of items including clothing and textiles, wood work, glass work, art work, ceramics and much more.
MHC Pop up at Stella’s Room, Muswell Hill, 10-16 May 2021
Thanks to all of you who braved the weather and visited us in the Muswell Hill Creatives Pop Up in Stella’s room. We all took turns to play shop keeper, and really enjoyed talking to all who popped in to browse the lovely range of items we had on sale.
Even more thanks to those of you who purchased items, we really do appreciate your support.
Handmade in Highgate, Designer/Maker Spring Fair, 21-23 May 2021
As always it was a fabulous event at the Highgate Literary and Scientific Institution for the Handmade in Highgate Spring Fair. We saw lots of familiar faces, and some new ones. Fortunately the numbers were fairly evenly spread, and few people had to queue in the rain.
The flyer really did attract attention, and the lovely cushions from By Cecil were a real hit and sold out. All of the traders loved the event, and were pleased to be selling to the public in person. Those who attended were very supportive, and few left without purchasing something. Thanks again for supporting local crafts people.
I am looking forward to seeing you all soon, and, if you couldn’t make it, I do love a visitor to my studio. After so much time away I look forward to being back in the studio. Something I wouldn’t have expected to say at the beginning of the month.
