Handmade in Highgate Designer/Makers Fair – Fri 1 – Sun 3 December
If you love supporting your local community of talented Designer Makers, you should pop along to the Handmade in Highgate Winter Craft Fair. This will be a great opportunity to pick up some fantastic work, whether for Christmas gifts, or just because….
Once more it is back at the Highgate Literary & Scientific Institution on 1 – 3 December 2023
- Friday 1 December 5pm – 8pm
- Saturday 2 December 10am – 6pm
- Sunday 3 December 11am – 5pm
As always there will be up to 30 of the finest designer/maker and contemporary crafts people working today. Exhibitors are local, from the UK and (occasionally) from overseas. They are all passionate about producing wonderful work in their specific discipline.
The fair offers a wonderful opportunity to meet and buy from a selection of artists and makers as well as having a look around the beautiful Highgate Literary and Scientific Institution, which is generally closed to the general public.

The fairs also feature a book sale in the historic membership library. It is free to enter Handmade in Highgate, and everyone is welcome. The photos below show my work bench as I was making up batches of card wallets for stock. I will also be bringing along a selection of bags and belts.
