Roll up, roll up. Come along to the iconic Ally Pally and join in with their 150th Birthday Celebrations. It will be one massive FREE birthday party on Saturday 27 May.
Lots of activities are planned, starting from 12pm and finishing at 9pm.
There will be stages hosting DJ sets from Mel Blatt, Hoxton Radio will broadcast live sets. Or try a Silent Disco overlooking the London Skyline. Plus see local talent on the People’s Stage and much much more.
Inside the action continues, the theatre will be showing Matilda the Musical and The Death of Stalin. Or maybe you want to join one of the behind the scene Guided Tours of this iconic venue.
The ice rink will have taster demonstrations for synchronised ice dancing and an ice hockey scrimmage, or skate your way through the Club de Fromage birthday ice disco.
A proper Ally Pally knees-up, it includes the street food and craft beer festival StrEATlife featuring fan favourites Rack City Ribs, Rum and Buns and The Duck Shed. There will be pop-up bars from local legends Goodness Brewery, Cargo House coffees and cocktails from Dash Concept. No need to go hungry or thirsty.
Discover all sorts of family-friendly activities, from face painting, arts & crafts and storytelling to drumming, camera and circus workshops and even a birthday card making station! All that plus performances from Chicken Shed Theatre, and a Makers Market!
You will find me with a selection of my hand crafted leather goods at the Makers Market in the Great Hall. Expect to see hand stitched bags, belts and other small accessories I have made from English Bridle Leather. The market will be packing up at 6pm, so don’t get too distracted and miss us!
It will be an amazing, once-in-150-years, opportunity to explore hidden corners of the Palace and the award-winning 196 acre Park. The party will run from 12pm – 9pm. Entry is free with a number of paid-for activities that require booking, check out the details on the Ally Pally website.
